Peggy A. Williams was born on December 6, 1932 in Dallas, Texas. She passed away on July 27, 2010 in Visalia at the age of 77 years. Peggy moved to San Diego as a young child where she grew up. After high school she attended San Diego State on a scholarship for the obo. She was also a pianist. Peggy was gifted in music, sculpture, and art work. She traveled throughout the states displaying and marketing her art . She moved to Visalia approx. 4 years ago to be near her children.
Survivors include her sons: Roch (Gina) Julien, and Eric Julien, both of Visalia;
daughters, Shelly Gill, Visalia, and Melinda (Weyman) Thomas, Burbank, CA; sister, Carolyn Banard, San Diego; 4 grandchildren: Tiffany Beggs, Brent Gill, Zachary Julien, and Taralyn Thomas; 3 great-grandchildren: Tristin, Evan and Bailey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Williams.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel, Visalia, on Monday, August 2, 2010, 3:00 p.m.
Private interment.
