Richard Edward Van Vooren

Richard Edward Van Vooren was born November 17, 1938 and passed away on May 19, 2018 in Visalia, California. He was born in Montclair, New Jersey to Frank and Vera Van Vooren. Richard served his country in the United States Air Force from November 7, 1957 to 1963. Richard enjoyed traveling the world. He was active in the Evangelical Free Church and is currently a member of Gateway Church.

Richard is survived by his loving wife Lois, married for 56 years; two children, Debbie Lee and husband Pat and Tammy Golomb and husband Lawrence; six grandchildren, Kimberly Lee, Patricia Day and husband Kelly, Ricky Lee and wife Jenna, Justin Zalewski, Nicole Hawn and husband Michael and Rebekah Zalewski; two great grandchildren Makenzi and Mason Day and another great Granddaughter Lee due in October and Cuddles his beloved dog.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia. Burial will follow at Visalia Public Cemetery.
