Story: Ruth Riddle was born on July 7, 1928 in Miami, Oklahoma to John and Hattie Algrim. She passed away peacefully on November 20, 2011 in her home at Quail Park with friends and Quail Park Family at her side. Ruth was a Tulare County resident for 65 years and worked for the State Board of Equalization for 37 years.

Ruth was preceded in death by her father John Riddle, her mother Hattie Luvica Algrim, her brother, Fred Riddle, sisters Virginia Evans, Gertrude Riddle and Dorothy Riddle. Ruth is survived by her brother Bill Riddle of Sun City West, AZ; her 5 nieces Barbara Hooper of Sun West City, AZ, Jana Hamilton of Kerrville, TX, Ruth Adams of Lilburn, GA, Harriet Mills of Fort Worth, TX and Virginia Robinson of Brush Praire, WA; as well as their families, her very close friend Carol Pastrick of Visalia, CA.

Ruth’s family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Quail Park, Kaweah Delta Hospice and Kaweah Delta Private Home Health Care for their compassionate and devoted care for Ruth. No services will be planned. There will be a gathering at Quail Park Retirement Village for Ruth on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 4:00pm.
