LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Bob Daugherty will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service in the chapel. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3223 Sunset Blvd, Ste. 100, West Columbia, SC 29169.
Mr. Daugherty passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. He was born December 6, 1928 in Steuben, WI to the late Earl and Lillian Daugherty. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War and worked for the US Silica/Floridin Company and the State of Florida. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and was an avid football fan.
Mr. Daugherty is survived by his son, Mike Daugherty (Lisa) of Lexington; daughter, Lynnette Manspeaker of Lexington; grandson, Michael Daugherty (Ashley) of Lexington; granddaughter, Margaret Daugherty Smith (Dawayne); great-grandson, Brayden Daugherty; brother, Richard Daugherty (Laura) of Portage, WI and sister-in-law, Vi Daugherty of Portage, WI. He is predeceased by his wife, Jeanette I. Daugherty and brother, Clint Daugherty.
