LEXINGTON – Cameron Louis Upchurch, 7, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 28, 2011 at Lexington Medical Center.
Cameron was born on September 9, 2004 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. Cameron enjoyed hanging out with the “guys” and loved his Gamecocks, playing outside with his dog and working with his daddy. His dimpled smile and twinkling eyes will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his Momma, Samantha Rabon Upchurch and his daddy “Shorty” Pioquinto. He is also survived by his sister, Christeena Renee Upchurch; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Teena Rabon of Lexington and an aunt, Maria Rabon Dillon also of Lexington and her daughter, Brittany Taylor; paternal grandmother, Nancy Williams and husband, Robert Williams of West Columbia; paternal grandfather, Gerald Dean Upchurch and uncle, Doyle Edward Upchurch both of Augusta, GA and also survived by many great aunts and uncles and cousins. Cameron was survived by his sister, Haley, who passed away on Monday, October 31, 2011.
Funeral services for Cameron will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2011 at Christ Center Church, 4615 Platt Springs Road, West Columbia, SC 29170 with burial in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. Memorials may be made in memory of Cameron to the church.
