WEST COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Vaughn Thompson Scott, 85, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SPCA, 121 Humane Lane, Columbia, SC 29209.
Mrs. Scott was born March 14, 1927 in Clover, SC and went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 27, 2012. She was a daughter of the late Tom Thompson and Annie Mason Thompson. Mrs. Scott loved the Lord with all of her heart and she loved all animals.
Mrs. Scott is survived by her children whom she loved dearly, Kuyler Baron Feemster, Vivian Samantha Holton, James Douglas Scott, Cindy Griffin, Kim Scott, Elisa Scott and Joshua Scott; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
