Mary Ellen “MawMaw” Rish is preceded in death by her very loving husband, John Andrew “Tommy” Rish; her dear son, Tommy Laverne Rish; and her beloved parents, K.C. and Ellen Agnes Sightler Harsey. She leaves behind many loved ones to honor her memory and legacy to include, but not limited to, her daughter, Nellie Jayne (Lee) Fazenbaker; son, Bryant Andrew Rish; honorary son, Michael Yenny; grandson, James Andrew (Andy) Dixon; granddaughter, Crystal Gayle Caulder and her husband/beloved grandson-in-law, Anthony Shawn Caulder; honorary grandson, Gregg Boone; great-granddaughter, Chelsey Miranda Dixon and great-grandson, Cody Andrew Dixon.
Mary was an amazing, loving and caring woman that did her very best to teach her children of the Lord’s love and about the world we live in. She would do anything for anyone that she could, and loved children and animals as much as one could imagine. She strived to be the best wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter and care giver anyone could ask for. Some of her other great passions in life were to garden, sew and care for her many plants.
Mrs. Rish was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church for many, many years and held tight to her faith through all of her trials and tribulations. She will be very missed.
The family would like to send a special thank you to her amazing doctor, Dr. Jeremy Ambroziak and the nurses and personnel at Providence Family Practice. We would also like to thank and send our gratitude to our very special friend, Joe Vasquez.
