

WEST COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Miriam “Mit” Windham Wilson, 79, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. one hour prior to the service at the funeral home chapel. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Mike Gunter. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 3223 Sunset Blvd. Suite 100, West Columbia, SC 29169.
Mrs. Wilson was born April 10, 1933 in Winnsboro, SC and went to be with Jesus on Thursday, February 14, 2013. She was a daughter of the late George T. Windham and Annie Amerson Windham. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith. She was a seamstress with Southern Made in Winnsboro for 17 years and retired as manager of Cheap-O’s stores.
Surviving are daughter, Robbin Cutro (Ben) of West Columbia; brother, Grady Windham of Lexington; sisters, Joyce Mitchell of Saluda, Bert Windham of Winnsboro and Margie Kelly of Charleston; daughter-in-law, Linda of West Columbia; sister-in-law, Donnelle of West Columbia; grandchildren, Holly and husband, Greg, Nick and Chase; great-grandchildren, Reagan and Cash. She was predeceased by her son, Tony Wilson; brother, Ollie; sisters, Elise, Esther, Libby and Lottie and former husband, George H. Wilson.
