Phillip O'Neal

Phillip was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who found his greatest happiness in the company of those he loved. He was preceded in death by the love of his life of 53 years, Terry O’Neal, who passed on January 24, 2025. Their bond was a lasting example of love and commitment. He was also preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jennings O’Neal and JT O’Neal; as well as his daughter, Rebecca Rhame Rose and son, Phillip Brian O’Neal.

Phillip dedicated much of his life to a business that he built in commercial flooring. He took pride in his craft and the honest work he provided for his family over the years. Phillip lived a life of hard work, dedication to his family, and community.

Outside of work, Phillip enjoyed spending time fishing and spending time with his family at their lake house in Santee, often finding peace and contentment on the water.

He is survived by his children, Kelly Alford (Robin), Scott O’Neal (Jaimee), Jason O’Neal (Tiffani), and Amy Willard (Chris). He also leaves behind several grandchildren and great grandchildren that he loved and adored.

Pallbearers: Nathan O’Neal, Skeeter O’Neal, Blair Ulmer, Eddie Hallman, Jacob O’Neal, Austin Hubbard, Brian O’Neal Jr., and Conner O’Neal.

Phillip will be remembered for his steady presence, his love for his family, and the simple, meaningful life he lived. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 4th at 2:00 pm at Dixiana Baptist Church, 3516 Charleston Hwy, West Columbia, SC 29172. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Southland Memorial Gardens located at 820 West Dunbar Rd. West Columbia, SC 29170.
