Dear Don and family,
   I am deeply saddened to learn of Ann's passing.  I will always remember my time working for her as the best employment experience of my life.  Ann was a born leader, and I was always amazed by her stamina, knowledge, and determination.  She lead from the front, and a young nurse could have had no better role model or teacher.  She was a force of nature with a deep vein of tenderness that drew people to her.  She was tough, but fair, and when she spoke about her family, I could see how deeply she loved you all.  My prayers are with you all at this time.

Don, Dee and Misty, I have read all of the wonderful things that Ann's friends and former coworkers have written.  She has touched alot of peoples lives.  Ann meant alot to me.  She had a strength beyond any one that I had ever met.She was an awesome teacher, coworker,boss and above all, friend. Ann is the lucky one.  She gets to shine above all of us witout any worries or concerns. As Dee said, "she will have Heaven organized and ready for us" when it is our time to go and what a Blessing it will be to be able to see her again!!  God Bless all of you!

Dear Don and family,
     It was with sadness that I heard of Ann's formidable illness from one of my Trinity friends one day.  I knew that she would face this new trial as she did everything....with determination and braveness! Though the odds were against her, I knew she would fight every step of the way.  Working for her in Endo at Trinity was my best (and perhaps hardest) experience! She expected the best from us...and she worked side by side with us.  I became a more skilled nurse because of Ann, and she was ALWAYS there when we needed her.  Underneath her sometimes "tough as nails" exterior was a compassionate friend.
We nurses will miss Ann dearly, and will keep her in our memories lovingly.

Dear Don & family; My heart is sad at the thought of Ann not being with us any longer, she was a true professional,a great teacher,and a good friend. I ,along with all who knew and loved her are at a loss for words. Having worked with her for many years in endo., I soon realized she could be counted on to help anyone in any way. She was there thru thick and thin. She always wanted our patients to have the best care, and that made us all give our best.When she hired me at SCCC it was such a blessing to me. Dear Don, Misty, Dee and grandchildren, 
I am  so deeply saddened by the loss of a wonderful boss, coworker and friend. I started working with Ann on the night shift in ICU at St. Joes many years ago. We then transferred to Endoscopy where she was known to all as 'Endo Ann'. We all laughed together, cried together and worked hard together. She was well respected and loved and I will miss her. My prayers go out to you for God's strength to be with you through this difficult time. Endo Ann, we love you!

What to say....Ann was fiesty yet gentle, hot headed yet calm, forward yet tactful....but most of all, she put every patient's well being FIRST.  The field of nursing and the world lost one heck of a nurse and AWESOME person!!!!  Praying for you, Don, and your entire family.

Don, you are in our thoughts and daily prayers. Ann was a truly dedicated professional. I recall our many trips to different seminars. Our no sleep night before we took GI Certification exam. We did have a nice dinner with my son Scott the previous evening. Ann will be deeply mourned.

Our family is very saddened to hear of Ann's passing. She had a heart bigger than Texas and we felt her love and compassion. Ann took me under her wing and taught me more in 10 years  than I could learn in a lifetime about skilled nursing, friendship and humor. She was first in line in one of our darkest hours, along with Don. We will remember her with loving thoughts and great stories that are tucked away to bring out when we need a chuckle and smile. I was saddened to hear of your loss. I worked with Anne at St. Joe's and she was always on my "A List " of people I could count on. She worked hard and well and laughed the same way! She will be remembered fondly.

Ann was always ready to help anyone. An awesome person and nurse!

To Don, Dee and Misty..I Worked with Ann at St. Joseph Hospital in the Endo unit for several years. Ann was a great nurse and a tough boss, but she never expected anything of you that she would not do. I worked the late shift..and most of the time if we (the late Crew) had emergencies, etc..more than likely Ann stayed there and worked with us. There is no one I would have rather had in an emergency to be with than Ann..she knew her stuff. She expected the best out of her employees but she never gave any less either. She gave 100% to her job, as you well know Don. She appreciated all you did on the spur of the moment, Don..like picking up a birthday cake for an employee (that we had forgotten) to various other "jobs". I learned alot from Ann, and was so sad to hear how sick she was..I didn't get to see her when ya'll were here in Nov..maybe that's a good thing.  I did send her a card after she was first diagnosed and ya'll had moved to Texas..she wrote me back and was very positive and strong as always. Don, and girls, I am so sorry for all of you, but keep on being strong..because that is how Ann would want ya'll to. Prayers are with you all.

What a shock to hear the passing of Ann.  We were neighbors for years in Green Meadows and then at Tradewinds.  Both her and Don were truely missed when they decided to move to Texas.  Our hearts go out to Don and the rest of the family.  We are sorry for your loss.
