Carmen was born in Waco, Texas to Placido Jasso and Carol Perez. Carmen married her wonderful love, Joaquin Lopez who she affectionately referred to as “Papi”. They were inseparable, they cherished every moment together, whether panning a project or planning future endeavors.
She shared her time with anyone that needed help, a “Hello, how are you doing, what can I do?” Touching lives with her generosity, her laughter and smile only matched all her beauty on the inside as well as outside. She was our rock. Carmen touched each and every one she knew.
Carmen loved her grandchildren and all her nieces and nephews, she would enjoy looking at all the pictures sent to her. She also loved her dog Princess, she was her “Boo-ta-ful gurl.” as she would say.
Left behind to cherish her memories and truly loved by her husband Joaquin Lopez; sons, Rick Salas and wife Candy and Joseph Lujan; mother, Carol Perez; siblings, Howard Faulkner, Paul Jasso, Jr., Daniel Jasso, John Faulkner, Nancy Hill, Kathleen Del Valle and Tempest Beaman; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
