

on Monday, June 27, 2011 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 2 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church with the Vicar Angel Jackson officiating and burial to follow in the
Rosemound Cemetery.
John was born on July 28, 1934 to John and Loraine (Larson) Dryburgh in Fordville, North Dakota. He was a longtime resident of Waco and a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. John served in the Air Force from 1955-1958 and
stationed at James Connally Air Force Base in Waco. He married Cornelia Minnix on December 14, 1956 in Waco. John worked at the Rohan Company as a Customer Service Representative and served in Waco Police Reserves from 1972-1982.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Loraine Dryburgh; wife, Connie Dryburgh; brother, Dennis Dryburgh.
John leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughter, Laurie Bowen and husband, Ralph Bowen, of Georgetown; grandchildren, Kaci Blaney and husband, Matthew, of Austin, Kari Bowen of San Marcos and Kate Bowen of College Station; brothers, Richard Dryburgh and wife, Vera, of Harrogate, England, Tom Dryburgh and wife, Delores, of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Paul Dryburgh and wife, Linda, of Cherry Grove, Michigan and Robert Dryburgh and wife, Mary Lou, of Sebring, Florida; sister-in-law, Louise Dryburgh of Park River, North Dakota; numerous nieces and nephews.
