Juanita Floyd Conley, 92, of Austin, formerly of Waco, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014 in Austin. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 1, 2014 in Waco Memorial Park with the Reverend Curtis Holland officiating.
Mrs. Conley was born on August 19, 1921 in Rising Star, Texas to William and Gladys (Collier) Taylor. She served in the United States Navy as a nurse during WW II. Mrs. Conley met her first husband, Frank E. Floyd in Venezuela and they were married in 1947; he preceded her in death in 1969. She moved to Lake Whitney in 1960 and was a nurse at Hillcrest Hospital for several years. She married Tom Conley in 1991 and he preceded her in death in 2009. Mrs. Conley was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
Survivors include her sons; Frank E. Floyd, Jr. of Fredericksburg and Robert W. Floyd and his wife, Susie of Kingsland, grandchildren; Michael, Shanda, Shelli, Kelli and Brandy, multiple step grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
