Linda Sherrill

Linda Crow Sherrill, 74, of Streetman, Texas entered into rest on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be at 10 AM Friday, Oct. 14, at Connally-Compton Funeral Director Chapel with Rev. Sam Longbottom officiating and interment to follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth at 3 PM. Family will greet friends and relatives from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, at Connally-Compton Funeral Directors.

Linda was born on September 4, 1937 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Jesse and Dorothy Crow. She was a longtime resident of Fort Worth, graduating from North Side High School. Linda met and married Willard Sherrill and they remained in Fort Worth until retiring to Streetman, Texas in 1994. She loved quilting, tennis, golf, music and most of all her family.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Lee and Dorothy Mae Crow; brother, Jesse Lee Crow Jr.; son, Stephen W. Sherrill

Survivors include her husband, Willard Sherrill; their children, Trent Sherrill and wife, Mary, Scott Sherrill, Greg Sherrill, Shelley Graves and husband, David; brother, Mike Crow and wife, Millie; grandchildren: Lindsey Sherrill, Christopher Sherrill, Dylan Sherrill, Karah Gunn and husband, Kyle, Cameron Graves and Lauren Graves.

Pallbearers will be Jim Ashby, Kenny Freed, Cameron Graves, Jim McKethan, Christopher Sherrill and Dylan Sherrill.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a contribution be made in Linda Sherrill’s name to the American Cancer Society.
