Lloyd A. Alexander passed away Monday, Oct. 5, 2015. Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 14, at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 305 N. 30th, Waco, officiated by the Rev. Aaron M. G. Zimmerman, Rector. Fellowship and refreshments will follow the service in our Parrish Hall.
Lloyd was very active with several community services, and non-profit organizations. He and his son, Harold, went through 30 years of projects for the community and encountering many on his journey. A highlight of that journey was him being awarded P.F.L.A.G. Parent of the Year.
Survivors are his son, Harold L. Alexander; sister-in-law, Margie Alexander; several nieces and nephews; lots and lots of close friends; and his best companion, "Shanghi".
We would like to thank the VA Medical System, Ridgecrest Retirement Center skilled nursing Section 2, Providence Hospice, and Russell and Tracy at Connally-Compton Funeral Home. Also many thanks to those who assisted with the service at St. Alban's.
