

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Mitchell W. Fadal, Jr. Mitch passed peacefully at his home after a long battle. Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Connally/ Compton with Pastor Bruce Worley officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 15, at the funeral home.
Predeceased by his parents, Mitch, Sr. and Rosemary, he was born in San Antonio. He graduated from Alamo Heights High School in 1965. During the Vietnam War he served at the Pentagon as a Dental Technologist. He later became an Independent Insurance Agent, self-employed for 48 years. Mitch was an avid sportsman who loved to fish and hunt. He was a dedicated member, Past President of the Waco Syrian-Lebanese Association and a strong Patriot. Mitch was a devoted Christian who strived to live “The Fruit of the Spirit.” Among his greatest joys were times spent with family, and working in his beautiful yard. Beloved brother, husband, Poppy, Godfather, cousin and friend to all, he is gone from us too soon.
Married 23 years to Dianne, he called her sons, Chris, Brent, Jon, and 7 grandchildren his own. The oldest of 4 siblings, he is survived by brothers, John, Larry, and sister, Susan.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Shriners Childrens Hospital are gratefully requested. May he rest in Peace and rise in Glory.
