Stanley “Stan” Loge, 65, formerly of Billings, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the VA Hospice, Waco TX. There will be private memorial services at a later date at the Veterans Memorial Cemetary, Kileen TX and at the Brown Ranch, Big Sandy MT.
Stan was born February 9, 1953 to Arne and Dorlan (Blake) Loge in Devils Lake ND. He attended schools in Grand Forks ND and San Diego CA. He served in the USMC from 1972-1978. Stan worked as an auto body technician for 36 years at Motor Power Equipment Co. in Billings. He was preceded in death by father Arne Loge and brother Arne Gene Loge.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Carol Loge; mother, Dorlan Woodruff; sister, Diane Popham: brother, Duane (Peggy) Loge; neices, Brianna Stewart, Tanya (Martin) Mojica; nephew, Devin Loge; great-neice, Natalie Mojica; great-nephews, Alex and Antonio Mojica, all from Waco TX, Arne Loge, Jr. of Spokane, WA, Mother-in-law, Rosie Riggins, Allison IA, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Renita Brown, neices, Megan and Chelsea Brown and nephew, Weston Brown all from Big Sandy MT.
Stan’s passion was racing, first stock cars, then dirt bikes and 4-wheelers. He was a member of the Billings Motorcycle Club for many years. He enjoyed landscaping, “fixing things”, hunting big game on horseback and riding his Harley. He loved spending time with family especially vacationing at the Lake of the Ozarks and going to his neices and nephews rodeos.
Many friends and his family remember he was quite a practical joker and liked to have fun!
