Virginia S. Benavidez, 86, of San Antonio, died Monday, June 30, 2014. Graveside Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Santa Cruz Cemetery in Riesel. Memorial Mass will be 7 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2014 at St. Francis Catholic Church. Visitation and Rosary will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 11th at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Benavidez was born on December 9,1927 to Jose and Felicitas Silva in Waco. She married the late Vincent Benavidez in 1956.
She is survived by her two sons, Vincent Louis and Victor of San Antonio; two sisters; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to The Virginia S. Benavidez Memorial Fund at any Chase Bank.
