Dino Malano

He was born in Maui, Hawaii, on December 11, 1969 to Danny Sabado Malano and Juanita Navarro.

Dino enjoyed fishing and music. While he was a quiet person, he was fun to be around. He lived a simple life surrounded by the love of his family and friends.

He is predeceased by his mother, Juanita (Navarro) Soto, maternal grandparents Pedro Navarro and Rufina Noble Navarro, as well as by his paternal grandparents Alfonso Malano and Brigida Sabado Malano. Additionally, he is predeceased by his paternal uncle Wesley Malano, maternal aunts: Rosita Cabotaje, Loreta Baza, and Carmen Brinkley, as well as by maternal Uncles: Albert Navarro and Rodney Navarro, Sr.

Dino is survived by his dad, Danny Sabado Malano and stepmother, Erlinda Malano of Ewa Beach, HI, brothers Christopher Derige Malano, CSP of Washington, DC and Don Burt Malano of Ewa Beach, HI, and sister Evelyn Malano Sumer (Emerson) of Kihei, HI. He is also survived by his paternal aunt Esperanza Malano of Pukalani, HI, and his maternal aunts: Filey Navarro of Henderson, NV and Lilian Spragan of Alexandria, VA.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church (1294 Makawao Ave, Makawao, HI 96768) with public viewing at 9:00 am, Funeral Mass at 10:00 am, to be followed by burial at 12:00 noon at Valley Isle Memorial Park in Haiku
