Henry Louis Tavares, Sr., 84, of Kahului, passed away at home on January 13, 2015. He was born on April 16, 1930 on Maui.
Services over urn will be held on Wednesday, February 18 at Maui Veteran’s Cemetery, Makawao at 9:00 am. Urn internment to follow. Norman’s Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
He was a retired bus driver for the City & County.
He is survived by sons, Henry L. (Renee) Tavares, Jr., Matthew Tavares, David Tavares & Michael (Jennifer) Tavares; brother, Richard Tavares; 10 grandchildren & 19 great-grandchildren.
