Joe was born on March 14, 1945, in San Diego, California, to Dorothy (Kaylor) and Sirl Myhand. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the US Marine Corps before making his home on Maui. Joe was the owner of Bird of Paradise Unique Antiques on Market Street for 34 years.
Joe is survived by his two sisters, Sirleen (Norm) Ghigleri and Teresa Myhand, his brother, Brad Myhand, and sister-in-law, Cheri Myhand, as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Steven Myhand, sister-in-law, Charlyn Myhand, and nephew, Tyson Hill.
Interment will be at the Maui Veterans Cemetery.
