Joseph Francisco Rodrigues, 89, of Haiku, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2011 in his home. Mr. Rodrigues was born on March 16, 1922 in Haiku, Maui. Joseph retired from Haleakala Dairy Ranch. He also loved being a family man, gardening, playing Sudoku, and fixing anything to do with mechanical. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor B. Rodrigues; a daughter, Theresa "Terri" Lynn (Bernard) Garcia; three sons, Anthony (Irene), Clyde (Patricia), and Eliot (Josepha) Rodrigues; three brothers, Clarence (Pat) Rogers, George (Brenda) Rodricks, and James Rodrigues; three sisters, Caroline (Alfred) Santiago, Margaret (Kenneth) DeCoite, and Genevieve Brown-Souza; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a great- great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Family and friends are invited to gather for funeral services on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will begin 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family requests lei only.Services: Mass over his urn at 11 a.m.Interment: Inurnment will be held at a later date.
