Juan C. Mendoza, 95, of Kahului, Maui, passed away on August 14, 2015 at his home, under the care of his loving family and Islands Hospice. He was born on December 26, 1919 in the Philippines.Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Christ the King Catholic Church; mass will begin at 11:00 am; followed by burial 12:30 pm at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery (Garden of Meditation).He is survived by his wife, Maria Mendoza; children, Lynna Rumbaoa, Arsenio (Odette) Mendoza; sister, Manuela Pias; grandchildren, Gail Rumbaoa, Angie Rumbaoa, Gina Rumbaoa, Katrina Mendoza, Michael Mendoza; and 1 great granddaughter, Amber Covarrubias.
