

Rev. Salvador “Buddy” De Guzman Casinas, Jr., 63, of Kahului, passed away on February 14, 2015, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on January 15, 1952, in Parparia, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He immigrated to Maui, Hawaii on November 6, 1984.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015, at Kahului Full Gospel Temple; service will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Visitation will also be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Kahului Full Gospel Temple; service will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow, 12:30 p.m., at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery in Wailuku. Norman's Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Buddy worked as a cook at Minit Stop in Kahului, but he was well known as one of the Pastors at Kahului Full Gospel Temple.
He was predeceased by his parents, Salvador Casinas Sr., and Soledad De Guzman Casinas.
He is survived by his wife, Elvira De Guzman Casinas; sons, John Louis (Grace) Casinas, Marc Levi Casinas; daughter, Irene Mae Casinas; brothers, Wilfredo (Milagros) Casinas of the Philippines, Warlito-deceased (Cresencia) Casinas; half-brother, Floro (Nancy) Ritarita, Jr. of California; sister, Leticia (Antonio) Calderon, Sr. of Honolulu; half-sister, Remelita Ritarita of Honolulu; and grandchildren, Richie Casinas, and Abigail Casinas.
