Victoria Makena Rose Blando

Our darling Victoria Makena-Rose Blando, 22 years old, took her final breath on Thursday, February 1st, 2024 at home in Kahului, Maui. Victoria was born on December 11th, 2001 to James Bernard & Wanda-Jeanne Blando in Wailuku, Maui.Victoria, also known as Tori; Loved Life. Tori would pour into people with such grace & kindness, always full of laughter & finding ways to have good fun. She shared often about the Joy she found with her Savior, Jesus Christ.

Memorial Service for Victoria’s Celebration of Life is to take place on Saturday, February 24th, 2024 at Hope Chapel from 9:30 AM-1 PM. Service at 10:00 AM. Lunch to follow. The family has requested for Aloha Attire. In lieu of wreaths, leis are welcome. Service will be live-streamed at hopechapelmaui.com

Victoria is survived by her parents, James Bernard & Wanda-Jeanne Blando. Her sisters; Alani-Anna Jeanne Wun, Mikaela Leilani Blando, Shauna-Lei Virginia Blando, and Whitney Malia Blando. Her bother-in-laws; Jonathan Wun & Kory Garaganza. Her nephew, Duke Wun. Her Grandmothers; Josephina Blando & Carolyn Virginia Hicks. Victoria is also survived by numerous cousins, Reese Blando, Rain Blando, Noah Chun, Helen Hicks, Martha Hicks, and Deborah Hicks. Her cousin-in-laws; Hi'ilei Robinson & Kamalei Robinson. Her aunts & uncles; Pamela & Michael Chun, Marlin Blando, Danny & Maricel Blando, Mark & Jan Hicks, Ross Hicks, Paulette Wun, Jonah Wun, and Christopher & Yvett Robinson. And her boyfriend; Vincent Bartucci. She was loved by numerous extended family & friends.

Victoria is predeceased by her grandparents; Jack E. Hicks and Jose Blando.

After fighting her battle with cancer this past year, her soul has been set free to God’s throne. Her spirit lives on through her family, friends, and the people she has impacted deeply with her life on earth.

We are comforted that she is finally free from the pain and has been reunited with our beloved loved ones in Heaven. Tori, the baby sister, youngest daughter of 5, and cherished friend; has now gone ahead to find rest with her Creator. Yet; we will forever miss you.Victoria, until we shall be all together again, Rest in Love Forever, with all the heavenly angles, above.
