Bill Harding passed away early in the morning on August 12th, at home in Kihei. Bill fought lung cancer for more than two years, but when it spread to his brain he declined rapidly. He died peacefully and even had a smile on his face. He is sincerely missed by his wife, Louella, sons Bill N. Harding and Kevin Harding, and stepsons Gregory Wilson and Geoffrey Wilson. He was born on July 5th, 1935 in Binghamton, New York and lived in southern California before retiring to Maui. He was a wonderful guitar player who took up the ukelele after moving to Maui. He so enjoyed his fellow ukelele players and teacher.
Interment: Bill served in the Marine Corp and his ashes will be inturned at the Maui Veterans Cemetery in Makawao on Sept. 2nd at 1:00 p.m. Friends are welcome.
