Aleene Mae Clark

Aleene Mae (Meier) Clark passed away on December 23, 2021. She was born on September 2, 1935, in Prince George’s County and is the daughter to the late Alfred and Allie Meier. She is predeceased by her husband, Edward M. Clark, and her brother Alfred Meier, Jr. She is survived by her three children, Edward J. Clark (Brenda), Elizabeth (Lisa) M. Spaar (Barry), and Richard M. Clark (Jenny), and her sister, Elizabeth Ratliff, who resides in Arkansas. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Christopher Clark (Megan), Chelsea Grabis (Austin), Brandon Clark, Danyelle Spaar and Amanda Clark, and her 3 great grandchildren, Charlee and Cooper Grabis and Callie Clark. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces who will miss her greatly.

She is a retired “Mixologist” from the Waldorf Moose Lodge where she enjoyed the company of many friends and patrons. She enjoyed talking to everyone and listening to all of the news they liked to share. She would enjoy road trips with her girlfriends, Shirley Townshend, the late Patricia (Miller) Henry and the late Barbara Hout. She loved watching the Washington Redskins, feeding the birds, getting her hair done every Thursday and spending time with family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Charles County Humane Society.
