Diron Lloyd Sanford was born on December 26, 1980, in Southern Maryland. Diron was an incredible person with an infectious smile that melted your heart. He was compassionate, soft-spoken, and listened intensely.
Diron's greatest achievement in life was becoming the father of his daughter Lily Sanford. Lily was his pride and joy, and he loved teaching her about the world. Diron often made up games to make learning fun for Lily and taught her the game of chess; she mastered and became his rival.
In his earlies ages, Diron was a motorcycle enthusiast, loved playing sports, and was a die heart Redskins fan. Diron had a love for all animals, which he rescued many.
If you knew Diron, you knew whatever he put his mind to; he would excel. Diron was a walking encyclopedia who loved learning. His favorite pastime was watching the history channel and documentaries.
Diron was a graduate of the University of Maryland and served in the United States Marine Core. After serving in the Marines, he decided to follow in his father's footsteps, becoming a plumber and worked side by side with his father and mother in the family-run business until the very end.
Diron is survived by his parents, Ronald L. Sanford and Diana Jean Sanford, daughter Lily Sanford, sisters Lori Crabtree, Christina Arbelaez, Ronda Bruce, Gina Pappas, and his constant companion Shadow, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
Diron was an amazing son, father, brother, and friend and will truly be missed by all.
Diron's life was a true gift, and we were all lucky to have been a part of it.
