Hey Ernie - Missed seeing you riding your bike and coming up my driveway, pulling up a chair and just chit chat.  We could not have had a better neighbor - mostly importantly - a better friend than Ernie.  I loved to watch him work in his yard and the beautiful shurbs and flowers he took care of with Tender Loving Care.  Sorry I did not make it to the viewing Ernie & Theresa and family.  My health is deteriorating rapidly and spent most of the day yesterday visiting doctors again.  Every single one of you were in my thoughts all day long.  May God grant your family the strength to carry on without their beloved Ernie.  We are here if you ever need anything - just give us a call.  Sincerely, John and Margaret Dennison, and Bobby also. Mr Ernie will be missed by the kids of Twinbrook both young and old. As he cruised the neighborhood on his stylish bike Mr Ernie would stop and share kind and encouraging words with his wisdom on just about any topic. If Special Instruction box does not show at first, once you click "Continue" to go to second page, then click on "edit" under flower item to go back and then the special instruction box will appear. Words can't even begin to say how sorry we are to hear about losing Uncle Ernie, he was such a special man. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. Love you Aunt Theresa.

Uncle Ernie was a hardworking man. When he came to his house in Va., him & his family would work around the house from daylight to dark. (Even though aunt Theresa hated it, she was always by his side.) Every time we will hear something about a train, it would remind us of him. Over the years, he had collected so many different types of trains, from a telephone to a rug he had made himself . The favorite memory of my kids was the time they got to ride the train at his house. And every time we went to Maryland, they wanted to know if they could go to Aunt Theresa & Uncle Ernie , to ride the train. RIP, Uncle Ernie, You were one of my Favorite Uncle's!!!

Will never be able to look at a train without thinking of Uncle Ernie.  So many memories.  It was the fun house to visit as a little boy, complete with snacks, trains, and a pool.  So many family gatherings!  Will remember him always.  Carl Jr., Alice, CJ & Max.  (Glad they are old enough to remember him.  If we bring kids to viewing, maybe we have kids wear their train engineer hats and share a pocket size Thomas the Train car with him as return for all the trains he shared with us.
