Iris "Marie" Cook

Iris (Marie) Cook died July 12, 2011 at her home in Brandywine Maryland at the age of 76. Iris was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved cooking and gardening. She enjoyed traveling and listening to country music. Iris loved to have a good laugh and to play jokes on her family and friends. Born in Severville, Tennessee to the late Ragan Webb and Iva Sutton-Green. Preceded in death by husband Bill Cook, sister Shirley Allison, brother Kelsey Webb and grandmother Nancy Sutton. Survivors include: sister Genevia Raby, daughters Cathy Cusin, Yvonne Daneri, Nancy White; grandchildren: Tony Webb, Michael Cusin, Christopher Cusin, Joseph Daneri, Jr., Marie Daneri, Chasity White and William White; great-grandchildren: Emily Webb, Lucas Webb, Bradley Daneri, Joseph Daneri, Katelyn Menna and Treasure Penkert; sisters and brothers-in-laws: Martha and Donald Ervin, Mary Spangler, Shirley Vermillion, Charolette Jackson, Alice Keykendall, Diane Smith, Susie Bland and Dewey Raby. Pallbearers: Joey Daneri, Jr., Billy White, Tony Webb, Michael Cusin, Christopher and Joe Daneri. Family will receive friends on Monday, July 18, 2011, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 pm. at The Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland, where funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 12:30pm.Memorial contributions may be made in Iri's name to the Hospice of Prince Georges County, 96 Harry S.
