It has been almost 5 years since you passed away. I still remember how kind-hearted and sweet you were , you was always trying to make someone smile! In 5th grade me and James auditioned for the schools talent show and i was telling him how nervous i was , and all he did was smile and said you dont need to be nervous, overthinking is how you mess up. Then i wast nervous no more.That is the best memory i have of youand i will never forget it. I miss you james , all of us do, the 5th grade class this still together thought so thats good. And every year on your birthday we wear orange cause that was you favorite color. I love you James rest in power. 

i honestly thought about james this morning out of nowhere .... its been 4 years since he passed and he is dearly missed ❤️ i cant remember if we were close in 5th grade but i do know we had a few convos .... im glad i remembered him and hopefully every year i can come back and leave another message .... you are truly missed james 🕊

I miss you  so much James. “James” :funny person, always made me have a good time in school. He had a great personality❤️. Lived his life to the fullest and always stayed positive. “  can’t belive he’s gone now, he left us too soon. I miss James very much. He was a good friend to have. He lived his life like nobody was looking. He lived it to the fullest and that's what you need to do and that is definitely what he did. In school, we have to do a memoir as our project and the first topic to do that came to mind was James. I miss him dearly and will forever hold him in my heart.

I just wanted to say that I pass by James' memorial daily to and from work. I have a little boy who goes to wade and also SMYO. I just can't imagine the pain that your family goes through but I will say his life has had an impact on me and my family. I hope your family can take some solace knowing that he is a shining example of a great boy that had so much more life to life. RIP James and prayers for healing to all that he touched and will continue to touch.

On a cold day in Bryantown last fall, our sons met on the soccer field.  I remember the day vividly, as I remember James.  He rolled his ankle and the coach carried him off the field, only to have him return a few minutes later.  Looking through the pictures, I have so many of the same pictures of my son.  He obviously had so many happy times in his way-too-short life.  I hope that the time between now, when your memories of him hurt too badly, to when those memories are instead a comfort, is short.

As I watch the slideshow I tear up knowing the pain you must be going through. A sweet smile and not doubt personality. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Mrs. Elvira and Mr. Jerry,

I am extremely sorry for your loss. James was my best friend for as long as I can remember and I will never forget him or the good times we had together. When I heard that he was hurt, I was hoping it was only minor and that he would be back in no time. Me and James had great times together and he will always be thought of as a brother to me. He will always be my best friend and I will miss him.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing this young man but I received the message as my son was on the team many years ago. As a stranger looking through the pictures I felt as though I knew your son. Anyone could see that you gave him the best and that his life was full of love happiness and adventure. You gave him a wonderful life and that was the greatest thing that any d us could ever want-- to spend the time we have in joyful bliss.  I know it may seem impossible now but the Lord will send you the Comfortor and you will regain your joy and peace. James is in a wonderful place. You must believe that.

I auditioned on the same day as him on Friday for the school talent show he played the guitar amazing very well. James was very funny, he loved to learn and he was very kind.  James was a wonderful person, and I was devastated to hear about the accident. I knew James personally. I was in his class, I was in the math, and MESA teams with him. I can't imagine what you must be feeling. I'm very sorry for you. I'll miss him in class.

James was a good friend and a very kind person. we first met when I was nine years old , we both played for Waldorf Soccer Club U10 team. He was so fast on the field. We had just attended a violin meet with Miss Sweeny and our future violin teacher Miss Koon, we couldn't wait to start Middle School.

James was in my 2nd grade class and again in my 5th grade class. We sat together at the same table in Ms. Carpenter's 5th grade class. James made us laugh and was a gentleman. He let me get in front of him when we had our class picture taken, even though we had to get in order from the tallest to the shortest. I had the honer of meeting James and his mom at  pastries for parents this school year. My son has spoken of James many times before. About them playing soccer together at recess everyday and as a classmate in 2nd and 4th grade.  They made friends in 2nd grade over books they both enjoyed.  We lit candles for James and my son said he will never forget James smile and how nice he was to him. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I had the honor of being James' school counselor when he was in the first grade.  I thank God for our time together. He was a delightful child.  I will continue to pray for everyone's strength and peace.
