Robert seemed to always be in a good mood. Even if he was mad about something, he could joke about it. He was one of the greats that I've had the pleasure to know in my life. I will miss our talks and joking around. He will not be forgotten. God bless the family, I will be praying for yall.

First and foremost, I must give God all Honor, Praise, & Glory...for having gifted us such a Wonderful man as Robert!
Then, sending out our heartfelt sympathies, prayers, and Love, to Robert & Valeria's immediate family, as well as all family and friends. 💔
Wow. Known to be wordy at times - Words 'want' to leave me, now...
Because it's all still TOO surreal..
All of the condolences sent in, sum up so beautifully, our sentiments about Brother's sudden passing, particularly those of our Brother-in-Love's, Charles Hardy, who gave poignant voice to the Hurt we all are experiencing, but also to the Joy of having many, many amazing memories.
When I think of my Brother-in-Love, Robert, for example, I recall easily who he was when we first met him as teenagers back in the late 70s.. and his consistency in maintaining that same easy-going, nature down through the years (one that was much better than our own teenage Devilish one's). A man of faithful integrity, one who was always smiling and in a jovial mood. Possessing that special sense of "somebodiness" about himself ..that Dr. Martin King spoke of as epitomizing an indivdual's ability to bring others into comfortable community. Robert was accepted and Loved at the very start by all of my family members, And to show our Love (smiles), my Sisters and I, the Trio known as "NeeNee, Cuppa, & Cody," LIVED to make his life comically unbearable - essentially, we Loved making Robert laugh. And he has such a Rich one, too. And the great thing was, Robert never took offense. Similar to his and Valeria's famous tennis playing days, for instance, Robert knew how to serve us "the dozens," as well as he knew how to receive them. Bless his lovable heart 💝..
He called us "Bamas" for decades, and we'd throw it right back at him in fun ...
Wow. Heaven has got to be an even brighter place to be, right now, "Bama," just because you're there!
We'll Love you, Forever & Ever, Brother..
& LORD willing, we will see you again.. ❤

Robert was the most genuine, caring, likeable man I've ever met! Our time with him at FRCSE was way too short and my most heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends! He was much more than a co worker or employee! Robert was an example of how we should all live our lives and stop wasting time with petty nonsense! Robert. You will be missed, sir. Thank God that I had the pleasure of knowing you for the short time you were here in Jacksonville! Your memory will not fade in or hearts and minds. Fair winds and following sea Mr. Myles and may God set your place at his table tonight!

I'm Robert's older brother and we had a lot in common. Playing basketball football, and hanging out together growing up. Lately whenever he came in town he stayed with me to go to family reunions and we watched all the games and I really miss him.

I can't even believe I'm writing this. You are supposed to be here. It was tough enough when you moved to Florida. Now its unfathomable that you're gone. We were members of the brotherhood of the brothers-in-law. The things we talked about; the laughs we shared, the family gatherings we participated in. You are my brother and I can't put my head around saying goodbye. God makes no mistakes and I have to take solice in that. I miss you brother. I miss your laugh. I miss you coming over for your haircuts. I miss you tearing up Ness' good cooking...😁 Reluctant acceptance is what I'm left with. Assume your place at the Lord's table. Rest easy Robert. Love you my brother. I extend my condolences to the family. God bless and comfort you all.

My father was the greatest man I've ever known. Our relationship struggled when I was a teenager but that was me being a teenager and him being my father. Our relationship struggled when I was a young adult also, because of the choices I made in my life. And as a more mature adult we fixed our relationship completely. He accepted me for who I am and it was the best gift that he could give to me. He embraced my finace and came to our home to spend time with us when he was in Maryland. He was always the best father figure for Chris, encouraging him to do and be his best and listen to his mom. I wish so much that we had more time. Everytime I cry I can hear his voice telling me "Don't be angry My Daughter" and even though I am angry, sad, and broken, I smile and tell him that I'm trying. I feel in my whole heart that he is and will forever be guiding me through this. Things will never be the same. I love you daddy and I miss you so very much.
Love,
Your Baby Girl

The memories I share with my brother Robert are so many and so wide range from us as kids growing up. I will miss talking to him daily about sports, politics, family. The stories he shared about his tour in Vietnam, or jobs at Verizon. We kept each other laughing, I knew he had my back and I his. It was nothing he wouldn’t due for family if it was in his power to do so. We us to laugh about our mother calling us up when she made bread or rice pudding. We were grown men, married with family but we would get our plastic container and race over to mom’s house for that pudding. We would poke fun at each other football team, he was a cowboy fan and I a redskin fan. We would call each other even after we had just talk to each other ten minutes ago. To say I love him is a under statement. To his children, remember he was a heck of a dad, you may not have agreed with everything he said or did, but you and all the grandkids were his heart. Mars you may have gone and left this earth way to soon, but the sixty five years I had with you are priceless. RIP brother, I love you. Peace. DPM.

He will always be Uncle Marshall to me. He was a constant presence in my teenager years. I spent a lot of time with him and his family as a teenager. He took me to Disney with his family, attended my graduations, house warming and 30th birthday party!
I will always treasure those long talks, his love and support. I could always count on him for a positive facebook comment.
I will miss that laugh and pearly white smile. I will really miss him. It’s been a rough week. It’s been so hard because it was so sudden and he had just accomplished a major dream of his. He was taken too soon. May he Rest In Peace and Power! I love you Uncle Marsh❤️

To Robert my brother, rest easy with the love from our hearts. To his surviving family, the love for your father, brother (or in-law), grandfather, cousin, uncle, and a friend will never leave your hearts. My deepest condolences are extended to all!
To God be the Glory for Life and all things we live through before passing this lifetime. Family grieving is not easy, and grief can leave us feeling hopeless, broken, and we may even be confused about the timing. Whatever emotions We are experiencing, God is in Control and his family is not alone in this grieving process because God is still here for you and He will comfort you each and bring you through. Allow the fond memories to be reminiscent upon your hearts and mines is my brother laugh and fun battles of who had the better team he or I (lol). My Skins his Cowboys lol. I have far more memorable times with my brother and his family, and there was always a gentleman quality he presented to his family, women, men, children, and young adults coming up.
One of the most difficult things for family and friends is how to find the right words to say after someone passes away. Offer your prayers, hope, and help and let them know you love them and allow them to grieve in their rights. I love my brother, his children, my sister who shared long-lasting memories with Robert and all the family. God bless and keep you All!
To: Val, Tiffany, Seana, Rissa and Robert (Rob), great nephews and nieces, I love you.

My brother Marshall and I would talk on the phone for hours talking about politics. We would laugh a lot. I’ll miss talking to him. Marshall was a kind brother and always jovial. I last saw Marshall in August of this year. I’m so glad I got to see him in person this year. I know he loved us all, he told us the last text I got from him. My brother Marshall, you will be truly missed. I love you so much. Rest in perfect peace. Your sister Vel❤️🙏🏾❤️

I met Robert about three years ago on the tennis courts at Jarboe Park. We met to play tennis from that moment on. He was a great friend and tennis player. I learned a lot about tennis from him. He always had great stories to tell and often talked about his daughters and grandkids. He reminded me so much of my father. I guess that why I took to him as I did. I told him I was his third daughter. I will miss him greatly. I"m so grateful for the time we knew each other. I will miss him teasing me on the courts and his smile. My sincerest condolences to the family.

We have such great memories with you, hard to say which ones were best. You were a brave brother to come into our family and take your girlfriends brothers and sisters to Kings Dominion lol Bebe kids for sure. You were such a trooper with all the pranks and jokes as well. Where ever we were, you made a point to come for a vacation. From Michigan to Hawaii.. you saved and took your family with you. Heaven is getting a great guy with a big heart. All we can do is pray to meet up with you again up there in our father's Kingdom Amen. Love you to life dear brother. You are missed 😢 💔
