Shirley was the first female security guard at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. In her retirement she enjoyed playing bingo, going to Dover Down Casino, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents the late Edward and Pearl Skinner and husband James Nelson Windsor. She is survived by her daughter Lenna Hobbs (Jeff), son James Windsor, four grandchildren Jessica, Joe, Amy and Karen and four great grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday April 16, 2013 from 10am to 12pm at Huntt Funeral Home Waldorf, Maryland. The funeral service will be on Tuesday April 16, 2013 at 12pm at Huntt Funeral Home Waldorf, Maryland and burial will follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Accokeek Volunteer Fire Department.
