Rosie Cordova

Rosie was an outgoing woman full of life. She loved to sing and dance and was a member of Shepard’s Heart Church. She loved her family and they always came first to her. She also loved to cook and made sure everyone ate before she did. Her door was always opened to anyone in need. Her presence in our lives will be dearly missed.

Rosie is survived by both her parents; her children Angel Santiago, Erica (Delfino) Benson, Adrianna Cordova, and Aaliyah Cordova; grandchildren Jayden Santiago and Natalie Benson; brothers Albert, Ben, Rick and Johnny Gomboa; and sisters Carmen Miranda, Rachael Sayler, and Alma Esteras. She was preceded in death by brothers Heraclio King Gamboa and Jose M. Gamboa Jr.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Merritt Funeral Home in Wapato. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. January 26, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Reservation Community Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosie’s name to Merritt Funeral Home in Wapato, Washington.
