Adibeh Ajini "Pauline", age 88 of Warren, died Friday, December 4, 2009 at Autumn Woods Health Care Facility. She was born July 15, 1921 in Palestine, the daughter of the late Hannah and the late Jamelieh Deer. Pauline was a loving and nurturing mother whose talents shone bright in the kitchen. An exemplary cook, she found great enjoyment in providing for her loved around the table. Cooking for her family meant a great deal to her and she knew how to do it up right. Another of her favorite pastimes was enjoying a good ball game. She was a fan of baseball and lived for the season of watching her "boys of summer" do their thing. Pauline was also quite fond of trying her luck with the lottery and taking her chances at the casino. But of all her passions, none were more important than those of her family. She loved taking care of them and providing that sense of "home" that naturally comes with "Mom." Especially precious to her were her 19 grandchildren, the cherubs she leaves behind to treasure her memory and the moments they made together. Pauline is survived by her children, Boutros (Ronda), Mary (Farhat) Habib, Amal (Raymond) Agini, Laila (Perry) Clark, Zako (Antonine) Bassil, Noha (Todd) White, and Adel (Janet) Ajini; grandchildren, Louie (Debbie), Mark, Danny, George (Noha), Elias, Andrew, Paul, Jessica (Tom), Jennifer (Steven), Rory, Austin, Chad (Chelsea), Eric, Joshua, Nicole, and Trevor; great grandchildren, Sophia, Victoria, and Kaleb; and her sister, Abla El Dair. She is predeceased by her husband, Elias. Visitation for Mrs. Ajini will be held Sunday 3-9 pm with a 6 pm Scripture Service at the Verheyden-Duross Funeral Home, 28499 Schoenherr (South of 12 Mile Road). She will lie in state Monday 9:30 am at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Arrangements entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road. Please share memories at Pauline's guestbook.
