Alfred John Klebba

Alfred J."Slick" Klebba, 87, of Warren, Died Saturday, October 16, 2004 at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Mr. Klebba was born the yougest of 8, August 23, 1917 in Detroit to John and Julia Klebba. When Alfred was 7 his mother died and his older siblings took him under their wings to raise him themselves. Alfred joined the Army during World War II. He worked for the Budd company as a checker for 34 years, and is a former member of the Polish League of American Veterans in Hamtramck. Mr. Klebba loved to be outdoors and was an avid gardener with a beautiful lawn. He enjoyed walking, and tried to walk everywhere he could. As an animal lover, his favorite creatures were dogs. Mr. Klebba is survived by his wife Lottie; children Marlene (Louis LaFave), Mary Robertson and Michael (Diane); and grandchildren Gabe, Raphael, Kevin and Amanda. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Julia and his seven siblings. A funeral service will be held, Wednesday, October 20, 11:00am at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover at Common (12 1/2 mile). Fr. Robert Witkowski will officiate. Visitation is Tuesday, October 19 from 5-9 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to the charity of your choice.
