Anna Barth

Anna was the cherished mother of Barbara (Alex) Macpherson, Joseph (Mindy) Barth, and Thomas Barth. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Tim (Rachel Halbmaier) Macpherson, Steven Macpherson, Elana (Kyle) Bruursema, Scott Macpherson, and Jacob Barth.

Anna was the dear sister of Jacob Rick and Elizabeth Lettang. She leaves behind many other treasured family members and friends.

Born in Sannicolaul-Mare, Romania, to the late Michael and Magdalena Rick, Anna immigrated to Detroit in 1952 where she celebrated her 12th birthday. After marrying Adam, they purchased a home in Warren, Michigan where they raised their family and remained residents for nearly 60 years.

Anna enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, and tending flowers in her yard. She was a continual learner mastering an I-PAD in her 70s which she used to research her interests, read on-line books and play games. Her home was always filled with warmth, delicious aromas, and the center of many family gatherings.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, with in-state visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Faustina Catholic Church, 14025 12 Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48088. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Anna' memory.
