Anna Mae Knoll

Anna and her family owned and ran Don K’s Deli in Eastpointe, Michigan for 10 years. She loved spending time with her family and serving her community. She was an extremely generous woman who gave monthly to numerous charities. A true caregiver at heart, she raised her kids, spoiled her grandkids, and even in her older years she would volunteer to help her community around her. Regardless of what was happening she was always the peacemaker in the family. Her family meant the world to her and she would look forward to making as many trips as it took to see all of her grandkids for the holidays and important moments in their lives. Traveling around the country, she adored Las Vegas, especially the casinos, and visiting the Smokey Mountains. With her husband Donald, they would rent a bunch of rooms in a hotel in the Smokey Mountains and bring everyone in the family with them. One year they even brought everyone to Disney. When she was at home in Michigan, she enjoyed going out to eat at buffets with her family. Her favorite being a family brunch at the Country Oven.

Anna is the beloved wife of over 50 years to the late Donald Knoll. The loving mother of Michael (Tracy) Knoll, David (Theresa) Knoll, and Randy (Lisa Harrington) Knoll. Treasured grandmother of Alicia (Ryan) Kendall, Don (Ashley) Knoll, Derek (Shannon) Knoll, Adam Knoll, Erin Knoll, Dana Knoll, Brandon Knoll, Talia Simpson and Michael (Alyssa) Simpson. Cherished great grandmother of Mila Kendall, Lincoln Kendall, Blair Kendall, Arthur Knoll, Vida Knoll, and Baylor Simpson. Dear sister of the late Jeanette Boyer, the late Dolores Kohler, and the late Shirley Singer. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, any donations made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.

A memorial visitation for Anna will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088, followed by a memorial service at 6:30 PM.
