Anthony Arthur Bosco

Anthony Arthur "Art" Bosco, age 84 of Warren, died Tuesday, October 22, 2013 in Clinton Township, Michigan. Anthony was born on March 22, 1929 in Detroit, son of the late Michael and the late Mary (nee: Blase) Bosco. Anthony was married to the love of his life, Shirley for 36 years, with whom he shared two beautiful children, Mary Beth Bosco-Westwood and Tony Bosco. Spending time with his family and friends is what gave Anthony greater joy than anything else in life. In his free time, Anthony enjoyed classic cars of all makes and models. Whether it was the "old" classics like the Model "A" or the "muscle" cars as he used to call them, Anthony loved admiring all cars he came across. Anthony also loved yard work very much. His lawn and the steps on the walkway up to his house were always kept in the most pristine condition. Anthony was a fan of all different types of food and was very much a connoisseur of good cuisine!In his younger years, Anthony owned and operated the "Bosco Tailor & Cleaners" business. All the suits and outfits that he tailored and cleaned were manicured to the greatest of perfection. He took great pride in his business. Anthony's work experience also involved the time he spent with the retail firm, Brooks Brother's. With over 15 years of dedicated service as one of their premiere sales associates, he was a prominent factor in helping countless thousands of people look their sharpest. Anthony is predeceased by his beloved wife, Shirley. He is the loving father of Mary Beth Bosco-Westwood and Anthony (Tony) Bosco. He is the dearest grandfather of Jeramie, Morgan, Jessica, and Tyler, and the brother of Dr. Robert Bosco and Michael Bosco. Visitation for Anthony will take place on Friday, October 25th from 3:00-9:00pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren. Visitation continues Saturday at 10:00am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
