

Anthony M. Tilotti, age 80, of Warren, died Monday, August 13, 2007 at his home. Mr. Tilotti was born April 11, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Andrew and Catherine (nee: Ancona) Tilotti. Anthonys parents died when he was only 13 years of age. He and his sister Ann became orphans and were bounced around from home to home. One of Anthonys first jobs was working for a bowling alley stetting up pins. He was bound and determined that he and his sister would remain a family. He later started working for GM. He met his future wife, Barbara (nee: LaRose) and later married her in 1949. Mr. Tilotti left GM and began working as a milk man for Twin Pines in Southfield, Michigan in 1955. During this time the couple raised 7 children and had a houseful. He left Twin Pines in 1972 to purchase his own sanitation company called F & M Disposal located in Romeo. Mr. Tilotti was always an extremely hard worker. Even at the age of 70, you could find him driving an asphalt truck as a side job. Anthony loved spending time bowling, golfing, traveling, and deep sea fishing. He owned a Model A antique car and loved going to the Woodward Dream Cruises. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Tilotti is loved by many and will be missed by all. Mr. Tilotti is survived by his children, Linda (Richard) Braun, Dean, Timothy (Karen), Debra (Ronald) Kozel, Robert, Tom (Jane), and Paul Tilotti; his sister, Ann Dybash; grandchildren, Kelly, Katie, Anthony, Denver, Austin, Ronnie, Dakota, Brett, Racheal, Gena, and Halle; great grandchildren, Jared, Jenna, Devon, Dominic, Skylar, Katelyn, and Alexis. He was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Barbara Tilotti. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 3-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 Mile Road), Warren, with the Rev. Jerry Weinzierl officiating.
