Raised in Grosse Pointe, he attended Grosse Pointe South High School and after graduation he enlisted into the Navy, serving 4 years and 3 of those years serving on the USS lake Chaplain. It is with thanks and praise, we pay homage to Arthur for the part he played as a soldier in the Untied States Navy during Vietnam. Serving our country, honorably, and full of patriotism, we honor his memory for the sacrifices made in preserving & protecting the freedoms and liberties we enjoy today.
Upon arriving home after his service he was married and had four children, and became a Manager of Sales. He enjoyed the hussle of making a buck. Not only did he find the hussle fun, he was an adrenaline junkie. He loved the need for speed! Art enjoyed boating, working on various motors, driving his Corvette, and taking the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle out for a ride.
Art was a simple, yet social man who so enjoyed having fun and grabbing the gusto out of life. With his warm smile and jovial spirit, he touched many hearts along life's way and always left a lasting impression. He leaves behind a legacy of love that is unique and memorable, and one which will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Without a doubt, he will be immensely missed.
