Barbara Colleen Yancy

Barbara was raised in Warren and graduated from Center Line High School in 1971. She married the love of her life, Jesse, on February 6, 1976, and they shared a beautiful life together filled with love and adventure. Throughout her career, Barbara worked for McCullagh Leasing, Motor City Casino, and Kohl's, where she made lasting connections and built a reputation for kindness and dedication.

Barbara had a deep love for traveling and often embarked on journeys with her family, especially enjoying scenic drives to see the fall colors. She was an avid reader and cherished the quiet moments spent with a good book. Above all, Barbara loved spending time with her family. One of her favorite pastimes was playing June's Journey with her loved ones, creating cherished memories that will live on forever.

Barbara was the beloved wife of Jesse Wayne Yancy. Loving mother of Michelle (Joe Evola) Yancy and Jeff (Mandy) Yancy. Adored grandmother of Sophia Evola, Dylan Evola, Jayden Yancy, and Mikayla Yancy. Dear sister of Ronald Engel and Ellen Matlock.

Visitation for Barbara will be held on Thursday, September 11th from 3-8pm with a 6pm Rosary at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road in Warren. She will lie In State on Friday, September 12th from 9:30am until the time of her Funeral Mass at 10am at St Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families, 25252 Van Dyke, Center Line, MI 48015. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
