Benny William Henley

Benny William Henley, age 62, died Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens, Michigan.  Benny was born July 8, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan, son of Bethel William Henley and the late Elsie Henley-Simons.

Benny was raised in Warren where he graduated from Lincoln High School, the graduating Class of 1977.  He continued his education at Macomb Community College and later found work in various industries including the restaurant business, where he found his love of cooking.

When Benny was young he was your typical young man of the 1970’s who enjoyed attending concerts and listening to the likes of Chicago, Steely Dan, and the Doobie Brothers.  Benny also liked visiting Metro Beach on those hot and sunny days of summer.  He had a caring soul and loved his family, and shared a passion for animals,...especially his dogs.

Benny was the beloved son of Bethel William Henley and the late Elsie Henley-Simons.  Dear brother Glen (the late Yvonne) Henley, Ronald Henley, and the late Kenneth Henley.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren, Michigan.
