

Betty Ann Gross, age 72, died Sunday November 1, 2020 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan. Betty was born August 31, 1948 in Highland Park, Michigan the daughter of the late Joseph Timko and the late Mary (nee: Smakowski) Timko.
Betty was raised in Detroit where she attended SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic High School. Following her schooling she joined the workforce working within the plastic manufacturing business.
Betty married in 1969 and she and her husband settled in Roseville, Michigan where they raised their family. Betty continued to work for AMP Industries and eventually retired after more than 25 years with AMP as an executive secretary.
When Betty was not working, she cherished the simple things in life and being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Betty was a selfless person giving of herself before others. She loved spending time at her northern Michigan getaway in Onaway Michigan with her family and crafting presents at Christmas time with her grandchildren. It was while up north that Betty and her husband made close friends for life. Also, northern Michigan provided Betty with a closeness to nature and tranquility for peace of mind.
Betty will be remembered by her family as a wonderful Polish cook, while teaching her daughters to make Pierogis. Additionally, she and her husband had a penchant for traveling throughout the United States visiting any casino in their path.
Betty was the beloved wife of the late Gordon Gross, and was the dear mother of Kathy (Jonathon) Corbeill, Suzette Craner, and Donald Gross. She was the loving grandmother of Jessica, Mary, Jackson, and the late Brandon, and the sister of Robert Timko, and the late Shirley Wilamowski.
Burial and Committal Services were held privately at Christian Memorial Cemetery in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
