Bruce graduated from Cousino High School in 1969 and went on to lead a life full of adventure, service, and love. As a young man, Bruce traveled extensively and even followed Circus Vargas, experiencing the world in a way that few can imagine. However, it was his commitment to serving others that truly defined his legacy. Bruce proudly served as a firefighter for the City of Warren for 25 years, retiring as a respected member of the department. His deep sense of duty and passion for saving lives was evident to all who knew him, and he considered it a privilege to protect and serve his community.
Bruce was a man of strong faith, a pillar in his community, and always eager to lend a helping hand. His kindness, compassion, and dedication to others left a lasting impact on all who crossed his path. Bruce shared a beautiful and loving life with his wife, Jennifer, with whom he celebrated 34 years of marriage. Together, they built a family centered on love. Bruce was a devoted husband, a wonderful father and grandfather, and his legacy of care and generosity will forever live on in his loved ones.
Bruce was the beloved husband of Jennifer. Loving father of Kristin (Peter) Lindman. Adored grandfather of Magnus and Henrick Lindman. He was predeceased by his brother Gregory Furwa and his parents Anthony Furwa, Mike and Jane Nastozyn.
