Carol Lynn Casbar

Carol Lynn Casbar, age 57 of Warren, died Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Ascension St. John Hospital in Warren, Michigan. She was born August 18, 1962 in Detroit, daughter of the late Sheldon and the late Margaret (nee: Ignash) Swatsworth.

With years of experience in caregiving, Carol was always mindful of others and was willing to help whenever possible,...especially when it came to her loved ones. She was the "Florence Nightengale" in her circle of family and friends, and would go the extra mile in effecting the care that was necessary. She always enjoyed spending time with her family, particularly for her handsome little grandson, Brayden. Carol was truly the "doting grandma." 

Carol's compassion and care were felt by many, and she touched a multitude of hearts and souls in her journey this side of Heaven. May she now rest peacefully, safe in the arms of God.   

Carol was the beloved mother of Michael (Ashley) Casbar and John A. Casbar. She also leaves to cherish her memory, grandson Brayden, and  dear friend, Rose Randall. Dear sister of Cindy Sullivan, Debbie Gladue, Linda (Ron) Sarzynski, Billy (Lori) Swatsworth, and Larry (Cherri) Swatsworth.

A Memorial Visitation for Carol will be held, in conjunction with her mother’s viewing, on Saturday, October 26th from 4-8 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 ½ Mile Rd) in Warren, Michigan.
