

Catherine Tink Elizabeth Studer, 84, of Warren, died Saturday, March 31, 2007 at St. John Macomb Hospital Center in Warren. She was born July 10, 1922 in St. Clair, Michigan. In 1941 Catherine graduated from St. Clair High School. A year later she married the love of her life, Albert James Studer on May 9, 1942. They moved to Warren in 1951 and raised their two sons. In her younger years, Mrs. Studer worked as a cook for Alwood Elementary School and later for Warren Woods High School. She was the head cook for the Warren Woods 6th grade winter camp program at Cedar Lake in Chelsea, Michigan. Catherine is survived by her children, Robert (Gloria) Studer of Warren and Timothy (Beverly) Studer of Macomb Township; brother, James Putnam of Harrison Township; sister, Ellen Fetchiet of Port Angeles, WA; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband Albert; parents, Russell and Frankie Putnam; brothers, William Putnam and David Schaaf; and sister, Nancy Krueger (nee: Schaaf). The funeral service for Catherine will be a the Funeral home Tuesday, however, final confirmation for the service time is still pending. Visitation will be Monday from 3-9 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, 4100 John R., Detroit, MI 48201.
