

Mrs. Catherine White Kay, age 80, a former 40 year resident of Warren, died August 11, 2007, at her residence in Clinton Township, Michigan. She was born in Glenora Falls, Nova Scotia in 1927. Mrs. White is the beloved wife of 49 years of the late James Alex White. Family members say she loved music and playing the piano, hosting big house parties and family dinners, often referred to as Music Sessions. She also enjoyed traveling, taking yearly trips to Nova Scotia to see her parents Daniel & Mary Campbell and other relatives. Mostly she enjoyed spending as much time possible with her family. She will be dearly missed. Mrs. White is survived by her son David (Teri) White; grandchildren Jillian and Brendon; 4 brothers, 4 sisters and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother James Campbell and grandson David White. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-9pm and Thursday from 2-9pm at the funeral home. Deacon John Skladanowski will have a Rosary Recital Thursday at 6:00 p.m. Mrs. White will lie in state Friday from 10-10:30 a.m. at St. Sylvester Catholic Church, 11200 Twelve Mile Rd., Warren MI 48093. Fr. Gary Schulte will officiate her funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Rd., Clinton Township, MI 48038.
