Charles Thomas Houser

Charles Thomas Houser Chuck, age 62 of Troy, died Thursday, March 01, 2007 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy after a brave fight against lung cancer. Chuck was born September 23, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Charles N. Houser and the late Helen (nee: Mulrenan) Houser. He is survived by his dear wife of over 40 years Marianne (nee: Janyst). Chuck is the loving Father of Debbie (Steve) Sosnoski, Suzanne Houser, and Kelly (Jay) Egelski. Cherished Papa of Ashley, Chelsey, Buck, and Jacob. Also he is the dear son in-law of Anthony Janyst. Chuck served his country proudly in the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. After his military service Chuck worked for over 25 years for General Motors as manager of materials and material handling. After Chuck retired he enjoyed working on his computer and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Chuck was loved by all and will be missed by many. Visitation for Chuck will be Sunday from 2-9 pm with an evening Vigil at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 mile). Mr. Houser will lie in State Monday 9:00 am, until the time of the Funeral Mass 9:30 am at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, 4571 John R, in Troy. Please share memories of Chuck at his guest book.
