Charlie Earl Morris, age 75, of Warren, died Thursday, August 5, 2010 at St. John Hospital in Detroit. He was born on February 11, 1935 in Armathwaite, Tennessee, a son of Erve and Bertha (Webb) Morris. On May 9, 1953, Charlie was united in marriage to Wanda Charline Welch in Rossville, Georgia. He retired in 2004 from Highland Park Auto where he was owner for over 33 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member Masonic Lodge #464 in Royal Oak. He enjoyed family, cars and racing. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Charline; sister, Christine Buck; and brothers, Richard, Calvin, Kenneth, David, Eugene and Bruce Morris. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Monday at the D. S. Temrowski Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover, Warren, with Rev. Mark Reynolds officiating. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township. Visitation will take place 5-9 pm Saturday and 3-9 pm Sunday.
